The following are samples of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department:

Friday

  • At 4:40 a.m., an alarm was reported at the recreation center on the 900 block of East Laughlin Avenue.
  • At 11:30 a.m., a man went into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report suspicious activity.
  • At 1:31 p.m., a man reported a theft at a residence on the 1100 block of South Fifth Street.
  • At 2:09 a woman reported threats at the hospital at the 300 block of Meil De Luna Avenue.
  • At 2:19 p.m., a woman reported an unwanted woman at a motel on the 200 block of East Estrella Avenue.
  • At 2:53 p.m., a man reported a theft from a fuel station on the 2300 block of South First Street.
  • At 3:02 p.m., a male was arrested for a warrant on the 900 block of South Third Street.
  • At 3:48 p.m., a man reported a burglary at a business on the 6300 block of Quay Road AM.
  • At 5:51 p.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 600 block of South First Street.
  • At 8:16 p.m., a woman reported a suspicious man at a retail store on the 2100 block of East Route 66. A man was arrested for a warrant and was taken to the Quay County Detention Center.
  • At 9:52 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on the 900 block of South Eleventh Street. A man was arrested for a warrant and taken to QCDC.

Saturday

  • At 5:35 a.m., an alarm was reported at the recreation center on the 900 block of East Laughlin Avenue.
  • At 7:30 a.m., an alarm was reported at the senior center on the 500 block of South Third Street.
  • At 12:50 p.m., an alarm was reported at a bank on the 100 block of East Route 66.
  • At 6:06 p.m., a woman reported a suspicious woman at a residence on the 700 block of Sunset Avenue. A woman was arrested and taken to QCDC.
  • At 7:20 p.m., a man reported an open door on a residence on the 1300 block of South First Street. Officers advised the door was secured.
  • At 10:43 p.m., a woman reported a fight at the convention center on the 1500 block of West Route 66.

Sunday

  • At 12:10 a.m., a man reported an open door at a residence on the 600 block of East Hancock Avenue. An officer advised all was OK.
  • At 12:12 p.m., a man reported a burglary at a business at mile maker 327 on U.S. Highway 54.
  • At 12:54 p.m., a man reported threats at a residence on the 700 block of West Hancock Avenue.
  • At 2:02 p.m., a man reported a drunk driver who struck two residences with his vehicle on the 600 block of South Seventh Street. A man was arrested and taken to QCDC.
  • At 6:35 p.m., a woman went into the police department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a domestic dispute.
  • At 5:08 p.m., an alarm was reported at a retail store on the 100 block of West Route 66.
  • At 7:08 p.m., an unwanted man was reported at a residence on the 1400 block of South Sixth Street.
  • At 9:34 p.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 700 block of East Center Street.
  • At 11:40 p.m., an alarm was reported at the senior center on the 500 block of South Third Street.
