American Legion Auxillary

American Legion Auxiliary Juniors Unit 77 of Logan gave their time and love to make 106 quilt tops and spinal cork blankets for the Veterans Administration Hospital in Albuquerque.

Fabric, thread, sewing machines, etc. were all donated to assist them for this project, as well as prayer blankets.

Carlie Perry, Ashley Turpin, Katie Bates and four others all helped.

Their chairman Gloria Rhodes and members Angie Chavez, Deborah Shena and Sherry Truelock worked along with these young ladies. We are very proud of them as over 300 hours of service hours and value of over $3,000 will be credited to their junior unit. Blankets were delivered on Nov. 19. What a great Christmas present to our veterans.
