Roch stands alone as state representative candidate

New Mexico State Rep. Dennis Roch (R-Logan) was the only Republican or Democratic candidate to file to represent District 67 Tuesday, which means he is running unopposed to retain his legislative seat.

District 67 includes all of Quay County, as well as Harding and Union counties, and parts of Colfax, Curry, Roosevelt and San Miguel counties.

Roch filed to be a candidate Tuesday in Santa Fe, the New Mexico Secretary of State's website reports. The Secretary of State tracked county and state candidate filings on Tuesday.

“I am delighted and honored that the voters of District 67 have trust in me and feel like I'm doing them a good job,” Roch said.
