Run for Wall riders to pass through Tucumcari

At about 2 p.m. Friday, about 250 motorcycle riders in the Run for the Wall are expected to pass through Tucumcari on Interstate 40 on their way to Glenrio, their next stop on their trip to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, DC, according to Chris Trimm, a ride organizer.

The riders, who are veterans, will be leaving Santa Rosa at about 1 p.m. Their stop in Glenrio is scheduled for about about 2:20 p.m.

Trimm asks that residents gather safely on I-40 overpasses to cheer the riders on.
