Altrusa International of Tucumcari will host its annual Cash Party on Nov. 8. The prize-drawing event will begin at 6 p.m. at the Tucumcari Convention Center.

A dance will follow starting at 9 p.m. with live music from the Skyliners.

The theme is 'Winter Wonderland,' and semi-formal dress is optional. Proceeds will fund Altrusa community service projects throughout the year.

Tickets to the event are $100 and include dinner for two and the dance. There will be 300 Cash Party tickets sold. The last number drawn will win $15,000. The runner-up will win $500, and every 25th number called will win a door prize worth at least $100.

“This year's Altrusa Cash Party is going to be awesome,” Susan Taylor, president of Altrusa, said. “The theme of Winter Wonderland suggests both elegance and fun. We hope you will experience both.”
