County conducting voter registration drive for Nov

A voter registration drive is being conducted by the Quay County Clerk's Office and will continue through Oct. 7, the day registration books close for the Nov. 4 general election.

The drive is being conducted to register persons who are not currently registered and to encourage existing voters to ensure their voter registration information is current.

Anyone who will be 18 years of age before Nov. 4 is eligible to register and vote.

Absentee voting by mail and in person will begin on Oct. 7. Voters may request an application to vote by mail by contacting the Quay County Clerk or by accessing the Quay County webpage and filling out the application on the County Clerk link, print it and mail it. The web address is http://www.quaycounty-nm.gov. Click on “County Clerk” in the menu on the left side of the page.
