Quay County Commission:

Quay County DWI Compliance Administrator Bryan Rinestine reported to county commissioners they had 10 DWIs during the past quarter — seven first offenses, one second offense, one third offense and one fourth offense.

Rinestine, speaking at Monday’s commission meeting, said all 10 were considered aggravated with the lowest blood alcohol level being a .06 and the highest a 1.26.

Rinestine said five arrests were made by New Mexico State Police, four were made by Tucumcari Police Department and one by Logan Police Department.

He said to date they have had 240 community service hours served by compliance members.

Other items before the commission included:

• Approval of the application of a $20,000 grant from the State Forestry Assistant fund. The grant will include a 10 percent match.

• Approval of Resolution 17, congressional funding for the payment in lieu of taxes program for the 2015 fiscal year.

• Approved a contract with Professional Document Services Maintenance for $4,000.

• Approved to apply for the New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange grant of $3,000 to help with the Community Awareness Initiatives program.

• Approved the bid for the Quay County Detention Center roof repairs to J3 Systems out of Albuquerque.

• Held an executive session for limited personnel matters. Reconvened from the executive session with no action taken.
