Staff Report

Quay County 4-Hers placed in the top five in several events on July 13- 6 at the 92nd annual state conference in Las Cruces.

Twelve Quay County 4-Hers competed at the state conference with the land judging teams winning first and second place.

The first place team members were Kyle Knight, Kyle Hamilton, and Bailey Smith. Knight was as the overall high point individual and Hamilton was fourth high.

The second place team members were Kaleb Hayes, Jonathan Clark, and Chase Hittson. Hittson was third high individual overall.

2. Rebecca Rush, Trestin Peterson, Shaylee Moon, and Reagan Runyan

Home Economics Skill-a-thon

4. Aleahna Branch, Peterson, Moon, and Runyan.

Horticulture

5. Peterson, Moon, Runyan and Kaleb Hayes

Entomology

5. Rush, Branch, and Peterson. Rush was fifth individual

Wildlife team

4. Kaleb Hayes, Wyatt Bishop, and Clark

Livestock Skill-a-thon

5. Smith, Hamilton, Knight, and Clark.
