Police Blotter/ Jail Log Aug. 12

The following is a sampling of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Aug. 3

• 12:09 a.m., a person reported an unwanted man who seemed to be under the influence of something was threatening to kill his girlfriend on the 2600 block of South First Street. Officers spoke with the man.

• 1:57 a.m., a woman reported that she could hear people selling alcohol to minors outside her home on the 700 block of West Sunset Street. Frankie Martinez, 18, was arrested for a warrant and taken to the Quay County Detention Center.

• 2:41 a.m., a woman reported that a man was outside her window making threats on the 1100 block of South Dawson Street. Officers spoke to the man on the phone.

• 9:38 a.m., a woman reported that her husband was threatening to beat their child like a grown man.

• 10:15 a.m., a woman reported a man standing outside across from her house naked on the 1900 block of South Third Street. The man said his clothes were being washed and had not been brought back yet.

• 10:49 a.m., a woman reported that she was being harassed. A protective order was issued for the people involved.

Aug. 4

• 2:51 p.m., a man reported that a woman was harassing him via phone calls. An officer was sent to the woman’s house on the 1900 block of South Seventh Street.

• 10:02 p.m., a person reported two juveniles shoplifting on the 2600 block of South First Street.

• 10:11 p.m., a woman reported two women were stealing a wire welder on the 1400 block of East Whitmore Avenue. Officers would be sent to hand the two women a no trespassing order.

Aug. 5

• 4:50 a.m., a woman reported a man was trying to use counterfeit $20 bills on the 2600 block of South First Street.

• 5:32 a.m., a person reported that a person shoplifted $150 worth of merchandise from Flying J on the 2000 block of Mountain Road.

• 2:18 p.m., a woman reported a suspicious person entering an abandoned house on the 300 block of East Center Street. The woman called back, said she had gotten the person out of the house, and did not need officers to come.

• 3:34 p.m., a person reported an unwanted woman at Circle K on the 600 block of East Route 66 Boulevard causing a disturbance. Officers issued a no trespass notice to the woman.

• 6:49 p.m., a woman reported she was receiving threats via texts on the 700 block of West Sunset. An officer advised it was just a verbal argument.

• 8:46 p.m., a woman reported a domestic violence on the 500 block of South Seventh Street. The woman had been knocked out for two days since the incident. No charges were filed.

• 9:56 p.m., a man reported a drunk driver on U.S. Highway 54. Officers contacted the driver; he was just tired. A citation was issued.

• 10:40 p.m., a person reported a domestic violence on Seventh Street and Hines Avenue. Eric Padilla, 27, was arrested for aggravated battery on a household member and was taken to QCDC.

Aug. 6

• 12:01 p.m., a man reported a woman making threats to him at his house on the 800 block of South Seventh Street. A no trespass order was given to the woman.

• 4:12 p.m., a woman reported that a man had been harassing her on Facebook and going by her house on the 1600 block of South Seventh Street making threats. Officers suggested the woman try blocking the man on Facebook.

• 6:16 p.m., a woman reported a drunk woman beating her children on the • • 700 block of West Sunset Avenue. An officer advised all was OK.

• 9:07 p.m., a woman reported a domestic violence on the 200 block of South Choctaw Street. Francisco Galvan, 41, was arrested for criminal damage to property, aggravated battery and was taken to QCDC.

Aug. 7

• 2:16 p.m., a woman reported a woman screaming “Call the cops!” on the 1000 block of South Jackson Street. Edward Ulibarri, 35, was arrested for a probation violation and sent to QCDC.

• 5:25 p.m., a woman reported that she was being harassed by a man via text messages on the 1800 block of South First Street.

• 11:10 p.m., a person reported a group of people being loud on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue. Officers advised the group to keep the noise level down.

• 11:46 p.m., a man reported an unwanted woman at his house on the 1500 block of South Rock Island Street. An officer was sent and the people involved decided to work out their problems.

• Patten Corey, 43, warrant

• Christopher Kasavich, 35, probation violation

• Rudy Lopez, 20, bond

• Crystal Lozano, 30, transferred to another facility

• Brandi Johnson, 32, court ordered release

• Frank Gallegos, 63, bond

• Christine Rivera, 40, bond
