Police Blotter/ Jail Log— Aug. 19

The following is a sampling of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Aug. 10

3:01 a.m., a woman reported a domestic violence on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue. Officers separated the two people and advised all was OK.

10:54 a.m., a person reported a domestic violence between a man and woman in a car between Jackson Street and Dohoney Street.

11:45 a.m., a person reported an erratic driver in a U-Haul truck on eastbound Interstate 40.

2:11 p.m., a man walked into TPD and reported that a man was threatening to blow up his house.

8:00 p.m., Emilio Sustaita, 24, was arrested for a warrant at Rockin’ Ys’ Restaurant on the 1900 block of East Route 66 Boulevard. Sustaita was taken to the Quay County Detention Center.

11:32 p.m., a person reported hearing gunshots on the 300 block of East High Avenue, 300 block of East Barnes Avenue, 600 block of Rock Island Street and 1100 block of South Adams Street. Officers were sent to the locations and could not determine where shot were fired.

Aug. 11

12:17 a.m., a man reported that he was being harassed by a woman, who was sending texts. The man was told to block the number.

9:00 a.m., a man reported an unwanted woman yelling at people at Everyone’s Federal Credit Union on the 500 block of East Route 66 Boulevard. The woman was told to leave the property. An officer advised all was OK.

12:49 p.m., a man reported a break in on the 1000 block of South Adams Street. An incident number was given.

2:35 p.m., a woman reported that she was receieving harassing texts on the 400 block of West Laguna Avenue.

3:38 p.m., a woman reported an erratic dirver on the 6300 block of Quay Road.

4:07 p.m., Felix Gonzales, was arrested on the 700 block of East Main Street. He was sent to QCDC.

11:26 p.m., a person reported a loud party on the 400 block of the 540 Loop in Logan. Officers were sent and told the people to keep it down.

Aug. 12

9:55 a.m., a woman reported an unwanted man and woman on the corner of Seventh Street and Gamble Avenue. Officers were sent, but the unwanted people had left the area.

10:00 a.m., a person reported an unwanted man yelling at people at Family Vision on the 300 block of East Route 66 Boulevard.

8:46 p.m., Thomas Dominjuez, Jr., 22, was arrested during a traffic stop on Third Street. He was sent to QCDC.

8:55 p.m., a person reported a suspicious man looking into windows at Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital on the 300 block of East Miel De Luna Avenue. Officers told the man to leave the area.

Aug. 13

9:27 p.m., a person reported goats in the yard on the 400 block of South Elder Street eating trees and shrubs. An officer advised all was OK. The owner picked up the goats.

3:20 p.m., Teresa Childers, 52, turned herself in on a Curry County warrant at District Court in the 300 block of South Third Street.

5:25 p.m., Jake Williams, 25, was arrested for a warrant on the 800 block of Impala in Logan. Williams was sent to QCDC.

9:58 p.m., a person reported a woman soliciting truck drivers for sex at Love’s Travel Center on the 1900 block of South Mountain Road. An officer was sent to the area and told the woman to leave.

Aug. 14

11:13 a.m., a woman reported that someone had broken into her house on the 5800 block of Highway 156. A case number was given.

12:33 p.m., a woman reported an unwanted person at her house on the 500 block of East Main. The person had left the house when officers had arrived.

2:13 p.m., a man reported that someone had broken into his workshop on the 3000 block of Quay Road. A case number was given.

4:28 p.m., a man reported that he was being harassed by a woman via texts on the 500 block of East Turner Avenue.

4:58 p.m., a person reported a drunk driver on Rock Island Street. Officers could not find the driver.

6:06 p.m., a woman reported a domestic violence incident between her and her husband. Georgia Lujan, 55, was arrested for battery and was sent to QCDC.
