Police Blotter/ Jail Log— Sept. 9

The following is a sampling of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Aug. 31

• 2:03 a.m., a woman reported a theft at a residence on the 1100 block of East Whitmore Avenue.

• 2:55 a.m., a man reported suspicious activity at a residence on the 900 block of East Rankin Avenue. An officer was told that there were lights on in the residence that is supposed to be vacant. An officer advised the residence was secure.

• 3:17 p.m., a man walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a theft.

• 11:09 p.m., an alarm was reported at a building on the 1600 block of North Rock Island Street. An officer advised all was OK.

Sept. 1

• 12:07 a.m., a man reported someone knocking on the windows of a residence on the 900 block of East Aber Avenue. An officer advised they patrolled the area and all was OK.

• 10:41 a.m., Joseph Lunn, 25, turned himself in for a warrant at the PD on the 200 block of East Center Street. Lunn was taken to the Quay County Detention Center.

• 12:28 p.m., a woman reported a shoplifter at a fuel station on the 600 block of East Route 66.

• 2:12 p.m., Jeff Dabbs, 50, was arrested for criminal trespass on the corner of Monroe and East Route 66. Dabbs was taken to QCDC.

• 3:05 p.m., a woman reported an unwanted man at a residence on the 1800 block of South Eighth Street. An officer advised the man was told to leave.

• 11:02 p.m., a woman reported a disturbance at a residence on the 900 block of East Aber Avenue. The woman told officer that a man was knocking on the windows of the residence after the lights are turned off. An officer advised they spoke with the man and advised him to stop.

Sept. 2

• 3:44 a.m., a man reported a prowler on the 2300 block of South Third Street. An officer advised they patrolled the area and all was OK.

• 5:48 a.m., Johnny Martinez, 34, was arrested for a warrant on the 600 block of East Main Street. Martinez was taken to QCDC.

• 11:04 a.m., a woman reported vandalism of a building on the corner of South Second and West Aber Avenue. An officer advised a window had been shot.

• 2:31 p.m., an alarm was reported at an office on the 300 block of East Washington Avenue. An officer advised all was OK.

• 6:11 p.m., a woman reported a fight at a residence on the 700 block of West Sunset Boulevard. An officer advised they patrolled the area and all was OK.

• 7:24 p.m., Zachary Hurd, 20, was arrested for two warrant on the 800 block of West Route 66. Hurd was taken to QCDC.

Sept. 3

• 5 a.m., a man reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 1300 block of West Route 66. An officer advised they made contact with the parties and they separated for the night.

• 11:33 a.m., a man reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 1200 block of South Fourth Street. An officer advised all was OK it was a verbal argument only.

• 10:50 p.m., a woman walked into the PD on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a dispute.

Sept. 4

• 12:46 a.m., a woman reported a fight on the 1800 block of South First Street. An officer advised they spoke with several subjects and all was OK; it was a verbal argument only.

• 10:58 a.m., a woman reported a theft at a business on the 1800 block of East Route 66.

• 2:28 p.m., a man reported a theft at a residence on the 2000 block of South Eighth Street.

• 4:45 p.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a fuel station on the 900 block of South Mountain Road. An officer advised the parties separated for the night.

• 9:01 p.m., a man reported a burglary of a vehicle on the 100 block of West Crutcher Avenue.

• Martin Jarmillo, 23, aggravated assault, negligent use of a deadly weapon, criminal trespass

• Johnny Salazar, 55, warrant

• Royce Shivers, 29, warrant

• Jeff Dabbs, 50, criminal trespass, larceny

• Joseph Lunn, 25, battery on a household member

• Johnny Martinez, 34, child abuse, intentional, aggravated battery, aggravated battery on a household member

• Michael Riggs, 51, battery on a household member

• Albert Chacon, 29, warrant

• Zachary Hurd, 20, warrant

• Florencio Moncayo, 33, criminal trespass

• Samuel Stanton, 53, warrant

• Andrew Thomas, 29, warrant

• Noah Davis, 35, conspiracy to commit distribution of marijuana, warrant

• Pamela Roy, 66, aggravated battery against a household member, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence
