Police Blotter/ Jail Log—Sept. 16

The following is a sampling of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Sept. 7

• 2:09 p.m., a man reported shots fired on the 1400 block of South Sixth Street. An officer advised they patrolled the area and all was OK.

• 5:08 p.m., a man reported an intoxicated man on the corner of South Adams and East Main Street. Jacob Ramirez, 24, was taken to the Quay County Detention Center for detox.

• 10:34 p.m., a woman reported a prowler on the 1200 block of East Heman Avenue. An officer advised they patrolled the area and all was OK.

Sept. 8

• 7:31 a.m., a woman reported a suspicious man looking over the fence of a residence on the 1400 block of South First Street. An officer advised he spoke with the man, who said he was trying to find a residence were he was supposed to work.

• 10:19 a.m., a man reported threats at a residence on the 1100 block of South Monroe Street.

• 2:26 p.m., a woman reported a fight at a residence on the 500 block of South Eighth Street. An officer advised all was OK; it was a verbal argument only.

• 11:03 p.m., a man reported an unwanted man at a hotel on the 2600 block of South Adams Street. An officer advised the man had left prior to their arrival.

• 11:10 a.m., a man reported harassment on the 400 block of West Aber Street.

• 5:41 p.m., a woman reported a fight on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue. An officer advised all was OK.

Sept. 9

• 1:25 a.m., a woman reported a erratic driver who nearly struck someone in the street on the 1100 block of South Monroe Street. An officer advised they patrolled the area and was unable to locate the vehicle.

• 1:22 a.m., a woman reported an intoxicated woman who was yelling on the 2900 block of East Route 66. Sara Caldwell, 35, was arrested and taken to QCDC for detox.

• 8:09 p.m., a man reported a fight at a fuel station on the 600 block of East Route 66. The man told officers a silver SUV rammed into a car several times in the parking lot. An officer advised they made contact with some of the people involved an investigation is underway.

• 9:46 p.m., a man reported threats on the 600 block of South Rock Island Street.

Sept. 10

• 12:33 a.m., a woman reported a fight at a residence on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue. An officer advised all was OK it was a verbal argument only.

• 1:31 a.m., Jennifer Smith, 40, was arrested for a warrant at a fuel stop on the 2300 block of South First Street. Smith was taken to QCDC.

• 4:06 a.m., a woman reported a suspicious woman on the 2400 block of South First Street. An officer advised the woman left the area.

• 5:43 p.m., an alarm was reported at an office on the 1600 block of South Rock Island Street. An officer advised all was OK.

• 10:10 p.m., an alarm was reported at a residence on the 2400 block of South Eleventh Street. An officer advised all was OK.

Sept. 11

• 9:37 a.m., a woman reported an unwanted woman harassing customers at a fuel station on the 1900 block of South Rock Island Street. An officer advised the woman left the area.

• 1:33 p.m., A woman reported an assault at a residence on the 200 block of West Dohoney Avenue. Daniel Garcia, 25, was arrested for aggravated battery and resisting, evading or obstructing an officer. Garcia was taken to QCDC.

• 4:40 p.m., a woman walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report harassment.

• 6:46 p.m., a woman reported harassment at a residence on the 1300 block of South Adams Street.

• Julio Ganuza, 52, warrant

• Andrew Martinez, 24, driving while license suspended or revoked

• Chistina Rivera, 39, battery against a household member

• Lela Ross, 29, warrant

• Quashe Woods, 19, warrant

• Jose Castilla, 44, warrant

• Jennifer Smith, 40, warrant

• Andrey Rojas. 29, warrant

• Frankie Gomez, 39, warrant

• Ricky Clark, 36, warrant

• Daniel Garcia, 25, aggravated battery, resisting and evading or obstructing an officer
