The following is a sampling of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Oct. 5

• 12:47 a.m., a woman reported a prowler on the 1100 block of South Fourth Street. The woman told an officer that someone was knocking on the windows of the residence. An officer advised they patrolled the area and all was OK.

• 2:39 a.m., a man reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 600 block of West High Avenue.

• 8:26 a.m., a woman reported a fight on the 200 block of West Center Street. An officer advised that all was OK it was a verbal argument only.

• 2:25 p.m., a woman walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a phone scam.

• 2:57 p.m., a woman walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a dispute.

• 5:33 p.m., a woman walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a theft.

Oct. 6

• 12:13 a.m., a woman reported a prowler on the 1000 block of South Jackson Street. The woman advised someone was trying to scare her and was knocking on the windows and doors of the residence. An officer advised they patrolled the area and all was OK.

• 7:08 a.m., an alarm was reported at a residence on the 2400 block of South 11th Street. An officer advised all was OK.

• 8:09 a.m., a woman reported an unwanted man at a retail store on the 200 block of West Route 66. An officer advised the man was told to leave the area.

• 12:22 p.m., a woman walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report threats.

• 7:47 p.m., a woman reported threats at a fuel station on the 600 block of South Rock Island Street.

• 9:54 p.m., a man walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a theft.

Oct. 7

• 8:44 a.m., Juan Alvarez, 23, was arrested for shoplifting at a fuel station on the 1900 block of South Mountain Road. Alvarez was taken to the Quay County Detention Center.

• 8:46 a.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 1300 block of West Route 66. Dean Billings, 42, was arrested and transported to QCDC.

• 8:25 p.m., An officer advised police were in foot pursuit on the corner of South Fourth Street and West Nobles Avenue with a man who has an active warrant. Clarence Benefield, 25, was arrested and taken to QCDC.

• 10:47 p.m., an alarm was reported at a business on the 200 block of South First Street. An officer advised all was OK.

Oct. 8

• 8:15 a.m., a woman reported a theft at a residence on the 800 block of North Bass Alley.

• 10:11 a.m., a woman reported shots fired on the 700 block of East Route 66. An officer advised they patrolled the area and all was OK.

• 1:43 p.m., a woman reported a burglary at a residence on the 4000 block of Quay Road 64.9.

• 3:29 p.m., an alarm was reported at a residence on the 1600 block of South Fifth Street. An officer advised all was OK.

• 8:55 p.m., a woman reported a shoplifter at a retail store on the 200 block of West Route 66.

• 10 p.m., an alarm was reported at a residence on the 800 block of West Hancock Avenue. An officer advised that all was OK.

Oct. 9

• 4:32 a.m., an alarm was reported at the convention center on the 1500 block of West Route 66. An officer advised all was OK.

• 4:35 a.m., an alarm was reported at a storage unit on the 1200 block of South 11 Street. An officer advised they patrolled the area and all was OK.

• 11:14 a.m., an alarm was reported at a residence on the 1500 block of South Third Street. An officer advised all was OK.

• 1:55 p.m., a woman walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to turn in a bike she found in the backyard of her residence.

• 5:33 p.m., a man reported an assault at a fuel station on the 2000 block of South Mountain Road.

• 10:03 p.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue. Leona Giant, 48, was arrested for a warrant and Johnny Miller, 42, was arrested for battery on a household member. Giant and Miller were both taken to QCDC.
