Police Blotter/ Jail Log— Jan. 6

The following is a sampling of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Dec. 28

• 12:29 p.m., a woman reported an open door at a residence on the 100 block of South First Street. An officer advised all was OK.

• 3:11 p.m., a woman reported suspicious men walking around a residence on the 700 block of North Third Street. An officer advised they patrolled the area and made no contact with the men.

• 7:07 p.m., a woman reported a theft at the hospital on the 300 block of East Meil De Luna Avenue.

• 9:20 p.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue. Johnny Miller, 42, was arrested for battery on a household member and was taken to the Quay County Detention Center.

Dec. 29

• 9:15 a.m., a woman reported a shoplifter at a retail store on the 2100 block of East Route 66. An officer advised the woman was issued a no-trespass warning and told to leave the property.

• 11:05 a.m., a man walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report a dispute.

• 2:43 p.m., a man reported a theft on the 100 block of South First Street.

• 5:22 p.m., a woman reported harassment at a residence on the 1200 block of South Fourth Street.

Dec. 30

• 8:55 a.m., an alarm was reported at an office on the 100 block of West Aber Avenue. An officer advised all was OK.

• 10:12 a.m., a man reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 1100 block of South First Street. An officer advised they spoke with both parties and the problem was resolved.

• 1:08 p.m., a woman reported a dispute on the 1800 block of South First Street. The woman told the officer that another woman had approached her vehicle and yelled at her. An officer advised all was OK, it was a misunderstanding and everything was cleared up.

• 1:23 p.m., a man reported an unwanted woman at a residence on the 300 block of West Laughlin Avenue. An officer advised the woman was told not to return to the residence.

• 4:08 p.m., a man reported harassment at a residence on the 2100 block of South First Street.

Dec. 31

• 8:52 a.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue.

• 9:18 a.m., Tiffany Bruhn, 22, was arrested for a warrant on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue. Bruhn was taken to QCDC.

• 10:25 a.m., a woman reported a theft at a bank on the 100 block of East Route 66.

• 11:22 a.m., a man reported a burglary at a building on the 100 block of South Fifth Street.

• 4:45 p.m., David Garcia, 25, was arrested for a warrant on the 700 block of West Sunset Avenue. Garcia was taken to QCDC.

• 5:52 p.m., a man reported a theft on the 800 block of West Route 66.

• 9:03 p.m., a woman reported an prowler on the 400 block of South Apple Street. The woman told officers that someone was trying to open her front door. An officer advised they patrolled the area and all was OK.

Jan. 1

• 12:16 a.m., a woman reported a prowler on the 1800 block of South Sixth Street. An officer advised they patrolled the area and all was OK.

• 9:51 a.m., an alarm was reported at a residence on the 1400 block of South First Street. An officer advised all was OK.

• 4:44 p.m., a woman walked into the Police Department on the 200 block of East Center Street to report an assault.

• 5:10 p.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 800 block of East South Avenue. Linda Chacon, 32, was arrested for battery on a household member and taken to QCDC.

The following individuals were booked into the Quay County Detention Center Dec. 28-Jan. 1.

• Johnny Miller, 42, battery on a household member

• Tiffany Bruhn, 22, warrant

• Linda Chacon, 32, battery on a household member

• Ricardo Chavez, 37, warrant

• David Garcia, 25, larceny

• Jesse Lunn, 27, warrant

The following individuals were released from the Quay County Detention Center Dec. 28-Jan. 1.

• Christopher Waltrip, 29, transferred to another facility

• Angelo Chavez, 34, bond

• Brooklyn Schacht, 22, bond

• Daeja Apodaca, 18, bond

• Matthew Braziel, 28, transferred to the department of corrections

• Christopher Martinez, 21, transferred to the department of corrections
