Fourth of July Events

Staff Report

City, county, state and village offices and area banks will be closed on Monday in celebration of the Fourth of July weekend.

There are several events taking place locally this holiday weekend and here is a list of what is going on.

Friday

• Ute Lake/Logan Chamber of Commerce’s Fourth of July street dance featuring Will Banister and The Modern Day Ramblers: 7 p.m. - 11 p.m., West of the Annex in Logan.

Saturday

• Ute Lake/Logan Chamber of Commerce’s Fourth of July parade: 9 a.m., at Logan.

• Champion Roughstock Challenge rodeo: 10 a.m., Quay County Rodeo Arena.

• CRC Dance featuring Ransom Rhodes: 8:30 p.m., Tucumcari Convention Center.

• Ute Lake/Logan Chamber of Commerce’s Fourth of July Fireworks display: Dusk , Windy Point, Ute Lake State Park.

Monday

Elk’s Lodge’s Fourth of July fireworks display, Dusk, Elks Lodge Tucumcari.
