Longhorns lose 2, win one at Menaul Tourney.
The Tucumcari Rattler girls scored two victories and a loss in basketball play last week.
On Thursday the Lady Rattlers came out on the short end of a 47-44 heartbreaker against the Tularosa Lady Wildcats.
At the Santa Rosa Invitational, the Lady Rattlers scored decisive victories Saturday against the Estancia Lady Bears (51-18) and the Dulce Hawks (59-38).
The Tucumcari Rattler boys’ team played in Mora on Saturday, but the score was not available Sunday.
Logan Longhorns
The Logan Longhorn boys lost two and won one at the Menaul Tournament in Albuquerque Thursday through Saturday. The losses were to Menaul (61-34) on Thursday and Coronado (51-47) on Saturday. On Friday the Longhorns beat the Eagles of the Evangel Christian Academy (45-42).
The Lady Longhorns, meanwhile, cleaned up in Menaul, winning against Coronado 55-36), the Native American Community Academy (59-19) and Evangel Christian Academy (52-5).
