Fishing report - Dec. 21

The fishing report has been generated from the best information available from Department of Game and Fish officers and anglers. Conditions encountered after the report is compiled may differ, however, as stream, lake and weather conditions alter fish and angler activities.

Blue Hole Park Pond: Fishing was very good using PowerBait and salmon eggs for trout. We had no other reports.

Conchas Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Oasis Park Lake: Fishing was slow to fair using Kastmasters and homemade dough bait for trout.

Sumner Lake: We had no reports from anglers this week.

Ute Lake: Fishing was good jigging in 40 to 48 feet of water for walleye. Most of the action was on the deep flats. Fishing for white bass was a bit sporadic and most of them were on the flats at the same depth as the walleye. We had no other reports. The surface temp was about 50 degrees.
