The Tucumcari Rattlers baseball team season ended with a 17-7 loss to the Capitan Tigers on May 3 at Capitan.
The 10-seed Rattlers drew the 7-seed Tigers in the first round of the 3A state baseball tournament. The Rattlers end the season 8-13, 2-7.
The Tucumcari Lady Rattlers softball team were not seeded in the 2A-3A state softball tournament.
The Lady Rattlers, 12-7, 5-5, lost their final two games of the season. On May 2, they lost 11-7 against the Estancia Lady Bears at Tucumcari and on May 3, they lost 7-6 in eight innings to the Lady Lions in Santa Rosa.
The Logan Lady Longhorns Softball team ended their season on May 2 with a 11-1 loss to Santa Rosa Lady Lions at Logan.
The Logan Longhorns baseball team finished the season with a three-game winning streak against the Elida Tigers at Elida.
The Longhorns, 3-17, 3-16, swept the Tigers in three games on May 4: 10-4, 10-4 and 8-3.
The Grady/San Jon baseball team ended their season on May 1 with a 13-3 loss to Gateway Christian at Grady. The Grady/San Jon baseball team ended their season with a record of 8-9-1.
