The dinner, dance drew more than 300; four split $15K prize.

More than 300 costumed residents enjoyed a haunted evening including dinner, dance and $15,000 drawing during the 'spooktacular' theme Altrusa Cash Party at the Tucumcari Convention Center.
"The event was a success with double the attendance of the previous year," said Ellen White, co-event chair.
White said this year's event featured a new system for the drawing, door prizes, all designed to streamline the event. She said in previous years the event took hours to complete.
"We were able to get through the drawing in half the time, freeing up more time for people to enjoy the event," said Janie Hoffman, co-event chair.
The $15,000 grand prize was split between Becky Fry, Beron Brisco and Otero and Dela Santos.
Winners could not be reached for comment.
