Applications for the Altrusa International of Tucumcari scholarship are now available.
One $400 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior each in House, Logan, San Jon, and Tucumcari High Schools. A $400 scholarship will also be awarded to a deserving student who is currently enrolled, or plans to enroll, at Mesalands Community College.
The scholarships will be awarded based on academic performance, need, the desire to attend college, and leadership as demonstrated by activities, community service, and honors.
Applications are available from high school counselors and financial aid advisors, and will be accepted through March 23.
