Republican majority will mean swift death to needed healthcare

The coming midterm elections should not be promoted as conservative vs. liberals, or Republicans vs. Democrats, but as life or death for those with pre- existing conditions or those of us who could enter that category in the future.

If Republicans maintain their majority you can kiss healthcare goodbye.

They refused to cooperate in establishing the Affordable Care Act from the start and have been lying about it ever since.

The purpose of government is to do the will of the people. The majority of Americans want healthcare and the Republicans ran into a firestorm from their constituency when trying to destroy healthcare. Their representatives are representing the minority (money source), not the majority. If re-elected they will kill healthcare for millions and lie about it.

For all office seekers, local, state, or national, establish and verify, their position on healthcare and vote accordingly.

The much-hyped position (lied about) was that they wanted to repeal and replace ACA with a better and cheaper plan. They stressed that people should not be forced to buy insurance or face a penalty.

The simple fact is unless a majority of people, healthy and unhealthy, get insurance, reasonable rates to cover pre-existing conditions is not possible. Cheap insurance with high deductibles is worthless.

The politicians opposing the ACA have never intended to replace it with a better one; they just want to eliminate it. When they could not eliminate it they proceeded to chip away at it to make it more expensive and less effective and blame the original design, a continuation of all the lying.

We are the only economically developed country without healthcare for all and the most expensive drugs. We can change that by voting the bums out regardless of party.
