• Friday-Saturday — Pumpkin Patch. Explore the Pumpkin Patch at Tractor Supply Co. from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. 1401 E. Route 66 Blvd., Tucumcari.

• Saturday — Altrusa “Boo-Bash” Cash Party. Altrusa International of Tucumcari will host the reverse raffle, including a $15,000 grand prize, beginning at 6 p.m. The Halloween dance and costume contest will follow at 8 p.m. Proceeds will be used to fund a variety of Altrusa community service projects throughout the year. • Saturday — House Municipal Schools Fall Festival. The annual festival that funds various activities for the school will include games of chance and skill, food, bingo, a costume judging contest, cupcake walk, pinecar races, airsoft target shooting, football toss, bounce house, auctions and more from 4 to 10 p.m. 309 N. Apple St., House.

• Saturday — Tucumcari Ranch Supply Lot Party. Home businesses, crafters, organizations and groups who need a venue for fundraising, this is for you. Those interested in having a free table should call 575-461-9620. From 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 502 S. Lake St., Tucumcari.

• Oct. 26 — Trunk or Treat. The New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department is partnering with local law-enforcement agencies and other community partners to make this a "spooktacular" event. Register at the START table for the chance to win door prizes. 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. 107 W. Aber St., Tucumcari.

• Oct. 28 — Tip Top Bass Tournament. Call Donny McWhirter at 806-333-3116. Ute Lake State Park.

• Oct. 30 — Customer Appreciation and Open House. Tucumcari Federal Savings and Loan Association invites everyone to this event from 4 to 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served. 301 S. First St., Tucumcari.

• Nov. 3 — Tucumcari Public Library Beer Fest. This event features a full meal of bratwurst or hamburgers with all the fixings, dancing to the music of Limited Editions and craft beer in an Oktoberfest atmosphere from 6 p.m to midnight. Tickets include five samples of different New Mexico beers. Tickets are $30 and can be bought from the library, any library board member, city clerk’s office and the mayor. • Nov. 16 — Route 66 Women: Untold Stories of the Mother Road. Join The Gallery Etc. and the New Mexico Humanities Council for this presentation at 6 p.m. The Gallery Etc., 201 S. Second St., Tucumcari.

• Nov. 17 — Denim & Diamonds. Join Tucumcari MainStreet for an evening out. Enjoy a steak dinner and dancing to the Buster Bledsoe Band. Meet the Tucumcari MainStreet community and enjoy a silent auction. From 6 to 10 p.m. Ticket prices are $35 per person, $250 for a table of eight, or $320 for a table of 10.
