Players to participate on all-star team

Two girls basketball players from Tucumcari and one from Logan will participate for the Northeast small-schools all-star team during games May 31 and June 1 in Albuquerque.

Kalani French and Aliyah Herrera of Tucumcari and Harlie Roach of Logan were among area seniors named to the Northeast team. They will play all-star teams from the other three quadrants of the state during a two-day tournament at Manzano and Valley high schools in Albuquerque.

Times for the all-star games will be announced at a later date.
