Bookmobile stopping around area in June

Rural Bookmobile East, based in Tucumcari, will stop at a variety of rural communities in and near Quay County through June.

The state library operates three bookmobiles in New Mexico that target library and information services to people in underserved and rural communities. Each bookmobile carries up to 4,000 volumes and makes a monthly route of regularly scheduled stops.

Here are the Quay County and area stops:

• Grady School: 10 to 11:30 a.m., May 13 and June 10

• Grady Post Office: 11:35 a.m. to noon, May 13 and June 10

• Nara Visa Post Office: 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Central, May 14 and June 11

• Logan Senior Center: 1 to 3 p.m., May 14 and June 11

• Logan Car Wash: 12:35 to 1:35 p.m., May 15 and June 12

• San Jon schools: 2:15 to 3:15 p.m., May 15 and June 12

• San Jon Village Office: 3:15 to 3:45 p.m., May 15 to June 12

• Quay: 9 to 9:25 a.m., May 16 and June 13

• McAlister: 9:45 to 10:15 a.m., May 16 and June 13

• House schools: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., May 16 and June 13

• House Community Center: 11:35 a.m. to 12:35 p.m., May 16 and June 13

• Newkirk Post Office: 2:30 to 2:50 p.m., April 18, May 23 and June 20

• Conchas Fire Station: 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., April 18, May 23 and June 20
