Logan will conduct election

The village of Logan will be conducting a special, mail-in ballot election June 4.

Each registered voter in Logan village limits will receive a ballot by mail on or about May 7. A voter or potential voter needs to make sure his or her voter registration is in order so the ballot can be mailed to the proper address.

Anyone who resides in village boundaries may update, register and view his or her voting record online at NMVote.org or drop by the Quay County Clerk’s Office at 300 S. Third St., Tucumcari, from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday.

Voters in the village will be posed with this question on the ballot: “Shall the issuance of restaurant licenses for the sale of beer and wine be allowed within the local option district of the Village of Logan?”

For questions, please call the Office of the County Clerk at 575-461-0510 or the Logan Village Clerk at 575-487-2239.
