Debris and a truck cab are strewn along the ditch Friday at an accident scene west of Tucumcari on Interstate 40. About 10 bystanders lifted the wrecked cab off the injured driver, give him aid and comfort, then cleared a path through the debris for medical workers, said a Quay County deputy.
