Outgoing Quay County District I Commissioner Sue Dowell receives a plaque of appreciation from commission Chairman Franklin McCasland. Monday was the final commission meeting for Dowell and fellow commissioner Mike Cherry, who both were term-limited after eight years.
Monday's meeting of the Quay County Commission proved to be the finale for commissioners Sue Dowell and Mike Cherry, who had served in their posts since 2012.
