The Horticulture Produce Team of the Tucumcari FFA chapter recently won a state championship during career development events.
The team consisted of Dyson Clark, Payton Oliver, Ashton Smith and MiKayla Klinger.
Clark also was the second high-point individual in state competition, and Oliver finished fourth.
Klinger also won a state title in illustrated talk.
Tucumcari FFA's agronomy team also finished fourth in the state.
The squad consisted of Clark, Oliver and Reyes Garcia. Oliver finished with the fifth-highest points total.
