Emily Priddy uses a GPS device to record the location of a 1940 Works Progress Administration stamp on a sidewalk on Sunday near Arthur Jimenez Park in Tucumcari. Priddy and friend Randi Eidsmoe are documenting such stamps on sidewalks and curbs around the city and have found more than 100.
Somewhere in the Franklin D. Roosevelt administration between "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself" in 1933 and "Yesterday, Dec. 7, 1941, a day that will live in infamy," came the Works Progress Administration.
