• Friday-Sunday — Tucumcari Rawhide Days. The event will include a Texas longhorn show, a film festival, gunfighter show, chuck wagons, Southern Slam Dancers, biscuits-and-gravy breakfast, cowboy church, Tucumcari Historical Museum programs, cattle drive on Route 66 and more. • Tuesday — Teacher Appreciation Celebration Drive-Through Breakfast from 7 to 8 a.m. at Tucumcari Historic Railroad Plaza.

• Saturday — Death, Diamonds and the Daring Heroes of Tucumcari. Tucumcari MainStreet is hosting another walking tour from the Tucumcari Railroad Museum of downtown Tucumcari at 1:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at Blanco Creek Boutique in downtown or at blancocreekboutique.com/shop/adventure-walks/26.

• May 10 — Women’s Day of Health. Services will include well women’s checks, sexual transmitted diseases screening and diabetic checks, including foot and eye exams. This event from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. will include door prizes, food, drink and giveaways. For more information, call (575) 461-2200. Quay County Family Health Center, 1302 E. Main St., Tucumcari.

• June 24-26 — Rockin’ Route 66. This event will feature live music, classic cars and more of classic Americana. More details will be announced later at rockinroute66.com.

• Aug. 4-7 — Tucumcari Rattler Reunion. This annual event for all Rattler alumni primarily will take place at the Tucumcari Convention Center. More details will be announced later at rattlerreunion.com. Those with questions should email [email protected].
