A total of seven players from the state-champion Logan six-man football team earned first-team District 1 honors, including Player of the Year.
Another four Longhorns earned second-team honors.
Player of the Year was senior running back Haden Judd, who totaled over 2,200 all-purpose yards and 35 touchdowns during the season for the 12-0 Longhorns, who earned their first-ever state championship in football.
Judd averaged almost 120 yards rushing per game and 15 yards per carry. He scored 26 touchdowns on rushing plays and five from receiving.
Other first-team District 1 players from Logan were:
- Junior quarterback Aydin Kotara, who completed 83 of 121 passes for 1,426 yards, 37 touchdowns and just three interceptions. He also ran for 237 yards and four touchdowns in 22 carries.
- Sophomore running back Stratton Schoonover, who ran for 625 yards and eight touchdowns in 64 carries. As a receiver, he caught 31 passes for 435 yards and 10 touchdowns.
- Junior receiver Mason Wallin caught 17 passes for 293 yards and scored a total of 14 touchdowns. He added 62 points after touchdowns.
- Senior defender Payson Nials, who led the team in total tackles (181), sacks (8), fumble recoveries (4) and tackles for a loss (52) and was second in interceptions (4).
- Senior defender Jace Jackson, who made 81 tackles, sacked the quarterback seven times and made 27 tackles for a loss.
- Senior safety Devin Kotara, who led the team with five interceptions, plus made five sacks and 75 total tackles.
Making the second team on offense was sophomore receiver Marshall Ortega, who scored three touchdowns.
On the second-team defense for the Longhorns were senior Bill DeLuca (33 tackles), junior Mitchell Wall (30 tackles, one interception) and senior Nate Romero.
