Travel on Westbound I-40 from Tucumcari resumes after traffic was stopped for more than four hours due to hazardous driving conditions Sunday morning.
Road update, 8 p.m. Sunday:
The New Mexico Dept. of Transportation says all roads in Quay County and surrounding areas are clear and passable. DOT spokespersons say they'll check the roads very early Monday morning to make sure they're still driveable.
