Friday — Route 66 Women: Untold Stories of the Mother Road. Join The Gallery Etc. and the New Mexico Humanities Council for this presentation at 6 p.m. The Gallery Etc., 201 S. Second St., Tucumcari.
Friday — Hospice Enchilada Dinner. Join Helping Hands Hospice for its annual dinner at the Elks Lodge from 5 to 8 p.m. Enchiladas are $8 per plate. Quilt raffle tickets are $1 a ticket or $5 for 6 tickets. Call 575-462-0099 for tickets. Elks Lodge, 2118 S. Adams St., Tucumcari.
Saturday — Denim & Diamonds. Join Tucumcari MainStreet for an evening out. Enjoy a steak dinner and dancing to the Buster Bledsoe Band. Meet the Tucumcari MainStreet community and enjoy a silent auction. From 6 to 10 p.m. Ticket prices are $35 per person, $250 for a table of eight, or $320 for a table of 10. Nov. 27 — Quay County Private Applicators Workshop. The Quay County Extension will be hosting a free workshop on how to safely use pesticides at 8 a.m. The Private Applicators Exam will be administered. Dec. 1 — Parade of Lights. The fun begins at 6 p.m. as the floats cruise down Route 66 Boulevard from the old Kmart parking lot to the Tucumcari Convention Center. Dec. 1 — Christmas Expo. Celebrate the holidays at this seventh annual event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m. after the Parade of Lights. If you're around from 1 to 3 p.m., you might spot Santa. Tucumcari Convention Center.
Dec. 14 — Christmas Cantata. The annual Christmas event will be at 7 p.m. at the Center Street United Methodist Church. Admission is free, and a reception will follow. Please bring your family to enjoy the music and atmosphere of the season. Center Street United Methodist Church, 406 E. Center St., Tucumcari.
