• Wednesday — Native American Heritage Month at Mesalands Community College. This free event at noon in the college’s Building A will feature dancers Ryedale Largo and The Dine Dance Group giving a performance. 910 S. 10th St., Tucumcari.

• Thursday — Veterans Day ceremony. The VFW Post 2528 in Tucumcari will host a Veterans Day remembrance at 11 a.m. at Veterans Park downtown, with a meal at the post afterward.

• Nov. 25 — Thanksgiving Day Drive-Through Dinner. The First Baptist Church again will host a drive-through Thanksgiving dinner from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in its alley at 321 E. Center St. Deliveries to shut-ins will be available. Call (575) 461-2724 before Nov. 19 to make sure to reserve your meal.

• Dec. 11 — Ninth annual Christmas Expo. This event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Tucumcari Convention Center includes a canned food drive for the Ministry of Hope. The expo still is looking for vendors; anyone interested should email Stormy Sena at [email protected]. The fee is $30 for each space.
