New staff member added to Trigg clinic

Certified family medicine nurse practitioner Lindsy Foust recently joined the care team at the Presbyterian Medical Group Family Medicine clinic in Tucumcari.

“Lindsy is a valuable addition to our team,” Vickie Gutierrez, hospital chief executive at Dr. Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital, stated in a news release. “She is experienced caring for people of all ages and in a variety of clinical settings. She also grew up in eastern New Mexico and understands the health care needs of our community.”

According to the release, Foust believes in a holistic approach to best address the health and well-being of her patients. She provides primary care services through annual exams, well child exams, preventive care, immunizations, as well as management of acute and chronic health conditions across the lifespan.

Foust earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from the University of New Mexico and her associate degree in nursing from Central New Mexico Community College. She earned her family nurse practitioner degree from the University of New Mexico. She has worked as a nurse at several Presbyterian locations, including urgent care, in the Presbyterian Kaseman Hospital Emergency Department and at a COVID-19 testing site.

Foust can see patients in Tucumcari from Monday through Friday. The clinic is at 402 East Miel de Luna Ave. Hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information or make an appointment, call 575-461-7100.
