Logan FFA chapter chooses new officers

The Logan FFA chapter recently held its first banquet - its 74th - after two years of being unable to meet due to COVID-19 restrictions and announced new officers.

The chapter's new officers for the 2022-2023 school year are Natalie Bongers, president; Justin Johnson, vice president; Mona Teaschner, secretary; Kyleigh Phillips, reporter; April Lansdell, sentinel; and Greyson Bollinger, treasurer.

The banquet also recognized chapter members who earned their Discovery, Greenhand, chapter and state degrees. The parliamentary team received special recognition for its first-place finish at the state competition; the squad will be competing at nationals this summer.

The chapter ended the banquet by recognizing the graduating seniors and their parents as seniors Micah Lightfoot, Rilee Nials and Destinee Scioli retired their FFA jackets.

The banquet recognized parents and volunteers who helped the chapter, including Relissa Nials, Valerie Grant, Sarah Scioli, Bonnie Lightfoot, Dennis Roch, Danny Morales and Billy Burns.
