4-H to host 3D archery shoot

Brenda Bishop

The Quay County 4-H Shooting Sports program will be hosting a 3D archery fun shoot June 11. The shoot will take place at Five Mile Park beginning at 8 a.m. All cards will be due by 1 p.m. Fees are $10 for adults and $5 for youth and will be used to cover replacement targets. There will not be prizes. Please bring your own snacks and chair. This is a great way to keep you and your bow in tune for the next hunting seasons. To get to Five Mile Park, take exit 329 off of I-40 and follow the signs toward the golf course, or take Route 66 to the west end of town and follow the signs. Take the left Y and use the second entrance to the park. For more information contact the Quay County Extension Office at 461-0562. The Quay County 4-H Program is associated with NMSU and is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer and educator
