The following is a sampling of calls received by the central dispatch office for Quay County, based at the Tucumcari Police Department.

Friday

  • At 11:16 a.m., a woman reported a shoplifter at a retail store on the 100 block of East Route 66.
  • At 1:01 p.m., officers served a search warrant on the 1500 block of South Adams Street. A woman was arrested and taken to the Quay County Detention Center.
  • At 5:46 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on the corner of South First Street and East Hines Avenue. A woman was arrested for a warrant and taken to QCDC.
  • At 8:40 p.m., a woman reported a fight on the 1100 block of South Seventh Street.
  • At 11:30 p.m., a woman reported an unwanted man at a residence on the 400 block of West Mesa Vista Avenue.

Saturday

  • At 1:29 p.m., a man reported a suspicious man on the 100 block of North U.S. 54.
  • At 2:17 p.m., a woman reported a shoplifter at a retail store on the 100 block of West Route 66.
  • At 3:49 p.m., a woman reported a burglary at a residence on the 1200 block of South Fourth Street.
  • At 3:59 p.m., a man reported a suspicious man on the corner of South Second Street and East Campbell Avenue.
  • At 5:44 p.m., a woman reported a shoplifter at a retail store on the 2100 block of East Route 66. A woman was arrested and taken to QCDC.

Sunday

  • At 12:32 a.m., a woman reported two suspicious men on the 600 block of East Laughlin Avenue.
  • At 6:58 p.m., a woman reported harassment at a residence on the 1200 block of South Seventh Street.
  • At 10:45 p.m., a woman reported a suspicious man at a restaurant on the 2400 block of South First Street.
  • At 11:45 p.m., a woman reported a domestic dispute at a residence on the 1200 block of South Jackson.

Monday

  • At 12:06 a.m., a man reported a fight at a hotel on the 1300 block of West Route 66.
  • At 6:19 a.m., an alarm was reported at a business on the 200 block of South Second Street.
  • At 3:36 p.m., a woman reported a suspicious vehicle on the 300 block of East Aber Avenue.
  • At 11:34 p.m., an alarm was reported at a business on the 600 block of East Route 66.
