Reception slated to honor senator

The Tucumcari Quay County Chamber of Commerce will be holding a reception For retiring state Sen. Clinton Harden at 5 p.m.,- 6:30 p.m., Friday at the Liberty Room of the Tucumcari Convention Center. The ceremony is to thank Harden for his representation of Quay County over the last 10 years.

Rancher Pat Woods of Broadview is running unopposed for Harden's seat.
