We currently have 1,037 customers without power in Texas and around 400 out in New Mexico.
In Texas, 1,008 are out in Amarillo, but we're about to restore about 200 in the Estacado area. In New Mexico, most of the outages are in Clovis.
We've had approximately 4,000 impacted by this storm since 8 p.m. Sunday.
Visibility is improving in our New Mexico territory and restoration efforts are starting to gain momentum.
Update: 5 p.m.We're down to about 25 customers there and should be finishing by 6 p.m. unless we run into any more issues. We have a number of broken poles on County Road 4 (Curry County) but are working around that problem. Crews are out there now replacing those poles.
