Tucumcari city manager to host "open office" Friday afternoon

Tucumcari City Manager Jared Langenegger is hosting the first "open hours" session from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday in City Commission chambers at City Hall, 215 E. Center St., Tucumcari.

"I hope this gives people that normally work from 8 to 5 a chance to come and visit and express their ideas, concerns, or ask questions with me one-on-one," Langenegger said.

If there is a large turnout, he said, he may limit discussions to 15 minutes, but if there is no line, he said, he will visit as long as visitors like.

Langenegger said he plans on holding open office hours on the first Friday of every month "to help get better communication going with the citizens of Tucumcari."
