NM 469, Logan to San Jon: Difficult conditions. Roads are snow packed and icy. Visibility is limited due to moderate snow. Watch for snow plows in the area. Please drive with caution, reduce speed and obey all posted traffic signs.

The National Weather service said that in the Quay County area, some areas of freezing fog are possible in the early morning, causing reduced visibility while adding potential for slick road conditions. Before 9:30 a.m., visibilities may fall as low as a half-mile in some areas, the weather service said. In addition to reducing visibility, freezing fog can deposit a thin glaze of ice onto roads and other surfaces. Motorists should be alert for Sudden reductions in visibility and allow extra time to reach their destinations this morning.
